28 NEW FOREST CENTRE: DRIVE-IT-DAY. Meet at the ‘Sir John Barleycorn’, Cadnam, SO40 2NP for coffee/teas at 10.30/11.00am and then go for a short tour of the area. Return for lunch for 1.30pm, having placed orders to the pub at coffee time.

2 NEW FOREST CENTRE: REASONABLE WEATHER WEEKDAY. We’re planning to check out the Vyne National Trust house now that the roof project is drawing to a close. We’ll be meeting at the Potter’s Heron Hotel at Ampfield at 10:30 for coffee before taking a social run to The Vyne near Basingstoke. You can get something to eat at the tea room or take your own picnic. The house is open from 12 till 4pm and the tea room until 4:30. No need to book ahead. Any questions, contact Jim

23 - 27 NEW FOREST CENTRE: WALES HOLIDAY at The Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, LD1 5DY. For our annual Centre Holiday in September 2019 we are planning to visit the beautiful roads and scenery of mid-Wales. Our preliminary plans include a planned drive through the beautiful Elan Valley to Devils Bridge and a visit to the Dolaucothi Gold Mines (but those are far from confirmed at this early stage!).
