20 June 2024ALLSORTS MEETING
An evening gathering with our Allsorts friends at the Empress of Blandings. More details to follow.   Jim Finch
We are planning to visit Longford Castle at Bodenham (just outside Salisbury). As we are classed as a Special Interest Group we can drive ourselves there and park at the front of the Castle. We visited it in 2019 - it is a very interesting private home not available to the general public except a few set days each year. The guided tour will start at 10.30 and lasts 2 hours. The cost of the guided tour is £16.00 pp. There are only a limited number of places so you must book before 1 May to avoid disappointment. After the tour there will be lunch at The Radnor Arms, Nunton. Bookings to be made directly to David Tofts who will then forward the lunch menu to you when it is available.  David Tofts
JULY

13 July 2024WHEELS AND WINGS
We are returning to this exciting event in 2024. To enter go to “Wallop Wheels and Wings 2024”. Do Not, repeat, DO NOT HIT Book Tickets Tab as this is for the members of the public, not exhibitors and car clubs! Scroll down to “Car Registration”, click that tab and complete registration form. Don't forget to enter the car club “Austin Healey Club”. You will need the driver’s and passenger’s passport and driving licence to hand to book. Please let me know that you have booked your place on the Club Stand so that we can have a sufficient number of cakes.  David Tofts
We’ve decided to run a picnic rather than a BBQ this year for the annual Centre Concours. As last year, it will take place at the Scout field in Copythorne (just down the road from the Empress at What3Words ///caps.slang.fond). Please bring your own drinks and food. This year, we plan to create suggested routes for a planned drive from a couple of locations in the Centre. More details to follow. We’ll aim to eat at around 1pm. As is traditional, if some of you would be good enough to bring along cakes for afternoon teas, that would be superb. And again, we will also hold the annual Centre Concours after we've eaten.  Jim Palmer
has invited us to their inter-club meeting which will take place at 19:00 in the grounds of IBM, Hursley Park Rd, Hursley, Winchester SO21 2JN. For a number of years they have been meeting here with friends from other car clubs and want to open this up to a wider number of people with a good opportunity to meet members of other car clubs.  Jim Finch
Organised by the Wessex Branch of the Variety Club Children's Charity at Wolvercroft Garden Centre near Fordingbridge, Hampshire which will include catering, entertainment and a limited number of stalls. If you would like to attend please inform David Tofts who can coordinate entry and numbers.  David Tofts
